The Constitutional Kingdom of Robertsonstan is a colossal, economically powerful nation, ruled by King Robert I with a fair hand, and notable for its complete lack of public education. The hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 7.858 billion Robertsonstanians enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as the Environment and Social Equality receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Taylorville. The average income tax rate is 8%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

Citizens receive notices of disenfranchisement along with their parking tickets, neighbouring countries pay to situate their nuclear power plants in Robertsonstan, agricultural science is the most competitive subject at Robertsonstan's universities, and new safety regulations require all cars manufactured in Robertsonstan to be bombproof. Crime is crippling. Robertsonstan's national animal is the Ragdoll, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is None, and its currency is the Tay.

Robertsonstan is ranked 97th in The Allied States and 95,918th in the world for Most Scientifically Advanced, scoring 30 on the Kurzweil Singularity Index.
