The Free Democracy of Rnegfania is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by rnegafan with an iron fist, and notable for its anti-smoking policies. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 3.34 billion are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, the Environment, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Rnegfania City. The average income tax rate is 95%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

The government is avowedly atheist, it is firmly believed that cameras steal souls, an increasing percentage of the population's youth have homosexual parents, and the police have been swamped with requests to stay up past bedtime. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Rnegfania's national animal is the intense hawk, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is sun worship, and its currency is the septim.

Rnegfania is ranked 4,076th in the Pacific and 99,833rd in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring -39 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
