The Principality of Rightnutistan is a massive, economically powerful nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 3.242 billion are free to succeed or fail in life on their own merits; the successful tend to enjoy an opulent (but moralistic) lifestyle, while the failures can be seen crowding out most jails.

The small, moralistic, pro-business government is mainly concerned with Religion & Spirituality, although Law & Order and Defence are on the agenda. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 14%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Retail, Uranium Mining, and Gambling industries.

Nudity is frowned upon, Harry Potter books are banned, the country's famous rainforests are being bulldozed by the mining industry, and young children are regularly seen wagering pocket money at blackjack tables. Crime is a serious problem. Rightnutistan's national animal is the politican, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the nut.

Rightnutistan is ranked 6th in Final Fantasy and 30,443rd in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring -10 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
