The Republic of Rhoderius is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Chairwoman Veseeré Zythan with a fair hand, and notable for its sprawling nuclear power plants. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 2.262 billion enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Education, although Law & Order and Social Welfare are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Kailé. The average income tax rate is 62%, and even higher for the wealthy. A large private sector is dominated by the Information Technology industry.

The government is a clear-cut case of tyranny by majority, nudity is frowned upon, Members of Parliament operate under a PAYE scheme, and the police have reaffirmed their tough stance on drugs. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Rhoderius's national animal is the Rabbit, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Crubaq.
