There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, liberal, pro-business individuals juggles the competing demands of Defence, Education, and Healthcare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Düsseldorf. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Book Publishing, Woodchip Exports, and Uranium Mining industries.

Scientists regularly clone human beings for research purposes, universities are populated by the spawn of the upper classes, the nation leads European Union in per capita stalking, and young children are regularly seen wagering pocket money at blackjack tables. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling. Rhine Ruhr's national animal is the Bulbasaur, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Rhinian guilder.

Rhine Ruhr is ranked 168th in European Union and 127,980th in the world for Most Income Equality, scoring 10 on the Marx-Engels Emancipation Scale.
