OverviewPeopleGovernmentEconomyTrendAnalysis

The Paradise of Republika Slovenija is a colossal, genial nation, ruled by Triglav with a fair hand, and renowned for its hatred of cheese. The compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 7.212 billion Republika Slovenijans hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, the Environment, and Social Equality. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Ljubljana. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 53%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Badminton was recently banned due to 'unacceptable violence' inherent to the game, citizens are allowed to rise or fall based on their own merits, healthcare funding has been cut, and people are now classified as male, female, or genderqueer. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Republika Slovenija's national animal is the Zlatorog, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is a major religion, and its currency is the Euro.

Republika Slovenija is ranked 14th in The Axis of Evil and 22,003rd in the world for Most Scientifically Advanced, scoring 127 on the Kurzweil Singularity Index.
