The Unified Federation of Rejistania is a gargantuan, socially progressive nation, ruled by Kenlentine'ny Mje'he with an even hand, and remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 18.183 billion enjoy some of the most opulent lifestyles in the region, unless they are unemployed or working-class, in which case they are variously starving to death or crippled by easily preventable diseases.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded individuals is effectively ruled by the Department of Education, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Social Welfare receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Sike Kali. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Book Publishing industry, followed by Information Technology and Uranium Mining.

Electrocution deaths among computer technicians are at an all-time high, the airship business has been driven out of the country by strict regulations and high fines, photographers can be found hiding behind the curtains in Kenlentine'ny Mje'he's bedroom, and Rejistania-made cars tend to catch fire in people's driveways. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling. Rejistania's national animal is the kaskada, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Kitivalha.

Rejistania is ranked 19th in Greater Prussia and 93,725th in the world for Most Compassionate Citizens, scoring -208 on the Kitten Softness Rating.
