The Republic of Redeemed Peoples is a massive, genial nation, ruled by Arthur Pendragon with an even hand, and remarkable for its anti-smoking policies. Its compassionate, hard-working population of 1.959 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Defence, although Religion & Spirituality and Law & Order are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Sub-Cymruville. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 79%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Information Technology, Woodchip Exports, and Pizza Delivery industries.

The minority party is vilified for everything from fires to earthquakes, a government program is underway to revitalize Redeemed Peoples's beaches, the armed forces are locked in an expensive and bloody war abroad to stamp out possible terrorists, and criminals are put to death while cuddling their favourite teddy bear. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Redeemed Peoples's national animal is the stallion, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Christianity, and its currency is the american dollar.
