The Almighty Company of Redamerica is a massive, safe nation, ruled by CEO Drew Red with an iron fist, and renowned for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 2.487 billion are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Commerce. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Drewtopia. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 22%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing, Gambling, and Uranium Mining industries.

Only a minority of the population can actually vote at elections, Members of Parliament operate under a PAYE scheme, a fashion designer has been arrested for inciting hatred after claiming redheads couldn't pull off vermillion, and citizens are encouraged to report friends, family members or co-workers who seem depressed to the government for "counselling". Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Redamerica's national animal is the Red Woodpecker, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Red Drakeic Dollar.
