The Queendom of Rowan I of Ravania Prima is a colossal, safe nation, ruled by Princess Rowan I with an even hand, and remarkable for its suspicion of poets. The hard-nosed, hard-working population of 6.702 billion Ravania Primen have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Defence, and Commerce. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Rowan's Glory. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 86%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

Newspapers may not print any negative stories about the government, Animal Liberationists are regularly jailed, all-natural foods are becoming a major fad, and UFO sightings are listed daily in the morning news. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Ravania Prima's national animal is the Raven, which can occasionally be seen dodging aircraft in the nation's cities, its national religion is The Order of the Hexes, and its currency is the Prima.

Ravania Prima is ranked 2nd in Ravania and 100,890th in the world for Best Weather, with -48 Metres of Sunlight Above Expected.
