The Morning Star of Ravania Morgana is a massive, safe nation, ruled by Rhonda Ravenclaw IV with an even hand, and remarkable for its keen interest in outer space. Its compassionate population of 3.21 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Education, with areas such as Social Equality and the Environment receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Morgana Sky. The average income tax rate is 57%, and even higher for the wealthy. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Tourism.

Droves of former desperados are applying to join the border police, the government is reining in public spending, guns are banned, and drunk drivers are sent to rehabilitation paid for by the government. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Ravania Morgana's national animal is the Raven, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is The Circle of the Raven, and its currency is the Claw.
