The Federal Republic of RandomGuyNation is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by President Jake Featherston with an iron fist, and notable for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 4.633 billion are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Defence, although Education and Commerce are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of CapitalVille. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 45%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Book Publishing industry, followed by Tourism and Arms Manufacturing.

Scientists regularly clone human beings for research purposes, urban high-volume mailers now receive their mail via chauffeur-driven limousines, hundreds of thousands of convicts work as slaves in RandomGuyNation's many privately-owned prisons, and corporate 'hostile takeovers' now involve ICBMs and main battle tanks. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. RandomGuyNation's national animal is the Phoenix, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is free religion, and its currency is the RGN Credit.

RandomGuyNation is ranked 26th in The New Inquisition and 4,952nd in the world for Largest Mining Sector, scoring 8 on the Blue Sky Asbestos Index.
