The Glorious Islamist Democracy of Rafikium is a massive, genial nation, ruled by Rafi the Revered with a fair hand, and notable for its hatred of cheese. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 2.311 billion enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Education, although Religion & Spirituality and Defence are on the agenda. Children are brainwashed at a young age to accept "Love and peace!" as a way of life, houses and businesses are bulldozed to make way for ever-expanding cemeteries, a large-scale revitalization of the education system is underway, and students are known to arrive at school in their pyjamas. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Rafikium's national animal is the Phoenix, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Sunni Islam, and its currency is the Fi.
