The Dominion of QuietDad is a colossal, safe nation, ruled by QuietDad with an even hand, and notable for its sprawling nuclear power plants. Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 7.407 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Healthcare, and the Environment. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of QuietDad City. The average income tax rate is 41%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Tourism industry, followed by Book Publishing and Information Technology.

Expensive lawyers are hired to defend citizens in court for public urination charges against their pets, government officials are held to the highest standard of morality, airport security is provided by private companies, and the police have been swamped with requests to stay up past bedtime. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. QuietDad's national animal is the Dog, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Beer.
