The Grand Duchy of Querryvon is a colossal, economically powerful nation, remarkable for its sprawling nuclear power plants. Its compassionate, hard-working, cynical population of 6.065 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Law & Order, with areas such as Defence and Social Equality receiving almost no funds by comparison. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 37%. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Uranium Mining.

Long arduous trials are held for the most trivial of offences, abortion is only legal in unusual circumstances, women who display their ankles are shunned by society, and citizens are regularly arrested in queues for 'loitering'. Crime is a problem. Querryvon's national animal is the goose, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the clopp.
