The Empire of Quen is a gargantuan, devout nation, notable for its devotion to social welfare. Its compassionate, hard-working population of 21.795 billion are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Education, and Public Transport. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 90%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Book Publishing industry.

Pharmacies close down as medicinal drugs are sold freely by the government, citizens are allowed to rise or fall based on their own merits, re-education centers are being added to most prisons, and houses and businesses are bulldozed to make way for ever-expanding cemeteries. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Quen's national animal is the White Tiger, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Quence.

Quen is ranked 74th in Asia and 118,086th in the world for Most Income Equality, scoring 40 on the Marx-Engels Emancipation Scale.
