The Holy Empire of Qudrath is a gargantuan, safe nation, ruled by The Holy Emperor with an iron fist, and remarkable for its keen interest in outer space. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 14.018 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Makkah. The average income tax rate is 98%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

New safety regulations require all cars manufactured in Qudrath to be bombproof, roads are often attended by round-the-clock construction crews, droves of former desperados are applying to join the border police, and children as young as twelve are conscripted into the armed forces. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Qudrath's national animal is the Imperial Falcon, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Imperial Dinaar.

Qudrath is ranked 45th in Asia and 66,449th in the world for Most Extreme, scoring 17 on the Paul-Nader Subjective Decentrality Index.
