The Federation of Prycuse is a colossal, cultured nation, ruled by Patrick Schale with a fair hand, and renowned for its anti-smoking policies. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 7.772 billion hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, liberal government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Social Welfare, and Public Transport. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Prycuse City. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 32%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Uranium Mining industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Woodchip Exports.

Employers may fire workers without giving any reason, record sales of 'child-whacking sticks' have been recorded, heavy industry must go to expensive lengths to dispose of waste, and the police have reaffirmed their tough stance on drugs. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is moderate. Prycuse's national animal is the longhorn, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Neuron.
