The German Empire of Prussia-Steinbach is a colossal, socially progressive nation, ruled by His Majesty Kaiser Benedikt I with an iron fist, and notable for its keen interest in outer space. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 5.158 billion Prussia-Steinbachians enjoy great individual freedoms in everything except elections, which, where they exist at all, are populist shams for a dictatorship government that has no intention of ever giving up power.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is effectively ruled by the Department of Defence, with areas such as the Environment and Social Welfare receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Berlin. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 47%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Uranium Mining and Book Publishing.

Violently opinionated speakers can be heard preaching their hateful views on every street corner, same-sex marriages are increasingly common, murderers frequently escape punishment by claiming they were protecting their honour, and citizens must pay to enjoy Prussia-Steinbach's pristine beaches. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Prussia-Steinbach's national animal is the Black Eagle, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to toxic air pollution, and its currency is the Mark.

Prussia-Steinbach is ranked 18th in Tyrrhenia and 110,887th in the world for Best Weather, with -823 Metres of Sunlight Above Expected.
