The Empire of PowerHome is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, renowned for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 4.028 billion are free to succeed or fail in life on their own merits; the successful tend to enjoy an opulent (but moralistic) lifestyle, while the failures can be seen crowding out most jails.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, moralistic individuals juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Commerce, and Defence. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 5%. A tiny private sector is dominated by the Furniture Restoration industry.

Crime is a serious problem. PowerHome's national animal is the Power, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Power.
