The Community of PopularFreedom is a gargantuan, genial nation, notable for its anti-smoking policies. Its compassionate population of 15.778 billion are highly moralistic and fiercely conservative, in the sense that they tend to believe most things should be outlawed. People who have good jobs and work quietly at them are lauded; others are viewed with suspicion.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded individuals concentrates mainly on Law & Order, although Education and Religion & Spirituality are secondary priorities. Income tax is unheard of. An almost nonexistent private sector is dominated by the Automobile Manufacturing industry.

All major public areas are watched by police surveillance cameras, ethnic minorities are often refused admission to some of the nation's best schools, the police have reaffirmed their tough stance on drugs, and protests are prohibited from blocking traffic. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. PopularFreedom's national animal is the Wolf, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Euro.

PopularFreedom is ranked 37th in The Heartland and 55,726th in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring -13 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
