The Fourth Commonwealth of Polska rzczpolspolita is a colossal, devout nation, ruled by King and Grand Duke Boleslaw V with an even hand, and renowned for its national health service. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 7.526 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Religion & Spirituality. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Warsaw. The average income tax rate is 98%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

The nation's first space rocket -- sponsored by Pepsi and shaped like an enormous soda bottle -- is being developed, innocent people are routinely stoned to death by frenzied lynch mobs, students are known to arrive at school in their pyjamas, and the public are free to vote for whomever the government wants in office. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Polska rzczpolspolita's national animal is the Eagle, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Catholicism, and its currency is the zloty.
