Pinkerton agents are called in to forcibly break up white collar strikes, the government seizes the property of the recently deceased, the people are famous throughout the region for their bleached-white teeth, and reporters often lose their jobs over fact-checking errors. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling. Plutonix's national animal is the Chocobo, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Rupee.
