The Federal Republic of Philipppines is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by President CAA with an even hand, and remarkable for its national health service. Its compassionate population of 1.246 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Commerce, Education, and Social Welfare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Manila. The average income tax rate is 93%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Book Publishing industry.

Legislators work 24/7 due to an influx of single-issue bills, schoolchildren have twice-weekly sex education classes, Animal Liberationists are regularly jailed, and citizens are expected to be proficient in at least five languages. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Philipppines's national animal is the Carabao, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Roman Catholicism, and its currency is the Peso.
