The automotive industry soaks up huge government handouts, inheritance tax has recently been abolished, citizens are bombarded with advertising from their compulsory minature radios, and Dogs with strange deformities like three eyes and tentacles have been seen prancing through the countryside where industrial waste is dumped. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. PetRapists's national animal is the Dog, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Nikonsehism, and its currency is the tyrel.
