The Democratic Socialist States of Peoples Empire is a huge, genial nation, notable for its parental licensing program. Its compassionate population of 586 million are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Peoples Empire's national animal is the rat, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the wrightmark.
