The Dictatorship of Paxderius is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Magnificent Overlord with an iron fist, and renowned for its keen interest in outer space. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 2.352 billion are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Defence, although Law & Order and Commerce are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of The Infernal City. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 88%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Information Technology and Automobile Manufacturing.

Phone taps are frequently carried out by the police, the PAF has poured billions of Euros into anti-spaceship defenses to protect Paxderius against outsiders (Paxderius has found 2 easter eggs), the police crack down on tax evaders without mercy, and criminals are thrown to the Wolfs to repay their debt to society. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Paxderius's national animal is the Wolf, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Christianity , and its currency is the Euro.

Paxderius is ranked 100th in Europe and 1,265th in the world for Most Influential, scoring 134 on the Soft Power Disbursement Rating.
