The Empire of Pasargad is a gargantuan, safe nation, ruled by Cyrus with a fair hand, and renowned for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 14.015 billion enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Education, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Defence receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Persepolis. The average income tax rate is 96%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Book Publishing industry.

Mobile phone masts are being erected all over the country, businesses are forced to bring all work back within the nation's borders, military funding has been stripped back, and drug distribution is tightly controlled by the government. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Pasargad's national animal is the Lion, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Daric.
