The government seeks peaceful forum with terrorists, Osarius's airwaves are dominated by corporate-backed commercial radio, heavy industry must go to expensive lengths to dispose of waste, and radio shows frequently feature people denouncing religion. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Osarius's national animal is the Phoenix, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Omnitheistic Taoism, and its currency is the Osarian Credit.
