The Grande Absurdity of Ordeiss is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Anna the Great with an iron fist, and remarkable for its unlimited-speed roads. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 3.718 billion are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

The large, corrupt, pro-business government juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Commerce. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Dorne. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing, Automobile Manufacturing, and Information Technology industries.

A recent political debate came to a quick close once the ruling party decreed it was "just plain silly", there are no minimum wage laws, the carcases of double-deckers can be found littering high streets all around the country, and eight year-olds with lemonade stands have been known to be locked up on charges of embezzlement. Crime is crippling. Ordeiss's national animal is the Heron, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Cult of the Dear Leader, and its currency is the Ord.
