The Humanitarian States of Onza is a massive, cultured nation, renowned for its irreverence towards religion. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 1.97 billion hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Education, although Social Equality and Social Welfare are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Isaiah-Ibn Al Ka'im. The average income tax rate is 93%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Tourism industry.

A large-scale revitalization of the education system is underway, the art of conversation has been rediscovered, elevator music has been replaced by thrash metal played at maximum volume, and same-sex marriages are increasingly common. Crime is totally unknown. Onza's national animal is the Golden Eagle, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Dollar.

Onza is ranked 3rd in The New Democratic Union and 2,889th in the world for Largest Welfare Programs, scoring 126 on the Safety Net Mesh Density Rating.
