The Liberal Conservative state of Obrien town is a massive, safe nation, ruled by Leader with an iron fist, and notable for its hatred of cheese. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 1.32 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Commerce. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Obrien City. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 73%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Obrien town is increasingly belligerent on the international stage, roads are often attended by round-the-clock construction crews, organ donation rates are among the lowest in the region, and corporations donate huge sums of money to favored politicians. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Obrien town's national animal is the liger, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Bacon.

Obrien town is ranked 16th in ASEAN and 117,971st in the world for Largest Mining Sector, scoring -4 on the Blue Sky Asbestos Index.
