The Royal Archipelago of Nuridia is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by Queen Ariana with an even hand, and renowned for its keen interest in outer space. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 3.168 billion enjoy extensive civil rights and enjoy a level of social equality free from the usual accompanying government corruption.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Social Equality, and Law & Order. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Thule. The average income tax rate is 71%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Major cities shut down as their local sports team takes to the field every day, organ donation rates are among the lowest in the region, children are sent to either religious or secular schools, and political parties are banned from advertising and receiving private donations. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Nuridia's national animal is the Pegasus, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the perle.

Nuridia is ranked 381st in 10000 Islands and 2,876th in the world for Most Influential, scoring 79 on the Soft Power Disbursement Rating.
