Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Northern Sunrise Islands's national animal is the Marill, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Arceusism, and its currency is the Islander Dollars.

Northern Sunrise Islands is ranked 9th in Esportiva and 14,183rd in the world for Most Eco-Friendly Governments, scoring 52 on the Dolphin Recycling Awareness Index.
