The Republic of North Europa is a massive, economically powerful nation, notable for its museums and concert halls. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 3.49 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Social Welfare, and Social Equality. The average income tax rate is 84%. A substantial private sector is dominated by the Book Publishing industry.

The government is spending millions on renovating the public transportation system, wealthy students ride to school past mendicant dropouts, Members of Parliament operate under a PAYE scheme, and citizens must pay to enjoy North Europa's pristine beaches. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. North Europa's national animal is the Black Bear, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Orthodox Christianity, and its currency is the Nordic Drachma.

North Europa is ranked 21st in European Union and 1,925th in the world for Most Influential, scoring 104 on the Soft Power Disbursement Rating.
