The Fearsome country of Njaynem is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by njm with an iron fist, and remarkable for its unlimited-speed roads. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 1.776 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

The minute, corrupt government, or what there is of one, is effectively ruled by the Department of Law & Order, with areas such as Social Equality and Social Welfare receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Njaynem City. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Uranium Mining and Automobile Manufacturing.

The nation refuses to provide international aid, the government seizes all major gold finds, urban high-volume mailers now receive their mail via chauffer-driven limousines, and the psych wards are overflowing with transsexuals. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Njaynem's national animal is the white tiger, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is proddy, and its currency is the niknaks.
