Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 4.311 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The enormous government juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Religion & Spirituality. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Verkeerdevlei. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 19%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing, Arms Manufacturing, and Retail industries.

Government officials are held to the highest standard of morality, several citizens have complained about scientists abducting their pets for experimentation, employers may fire workers without giving any reason, and parents must choose their children's names from a government-mandated master list. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is relatively low, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Niongor's national animal is the lion, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the shilling.
