The United Funksford of Nickeh is a colossal, genial nation, ruled by Ennick with a fair hand, and renowned for its restrictive gun laws. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 8.673 billion are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Education, although the Environment and Social Equality are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Renipa. The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Book Publishing industry.

The arms industry is strictly regulated, guns are banned, marketing departments of corporate giants compete to sponsor little league teams, and highschool principals regularly send armed truancy patrols to drag problem students to school. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Nickeh's national animal is the mighty badger, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the chocolate coin.
