The Gingrich of Newtered States is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Newt Gingrich with an even hand, and renowned for its parental licensing program. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 2.758 billion are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded individuals juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Religion & Spirituality, and Defence. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of GingrichTown. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 1%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Uranium Mining, Arms Manufacturing, and Woodchip Exports industries.

There has been a series of riots between local cannibals and health food advocates, a large percentage of the poor live from cradle to grave in subterranean wage slavery, Newt Gingrich has just been declared ruler of Newtered States in an international press conference, and Gingrichism has been named as Newtered States's national religion. Crime is pervasive. Newtered States's national animal is the Newt, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Gingrichism, and its currency is the Gingrich.

Newtered States is ranked 2nd in Conservadom and 77,958th in the world for Most Extreme, scoring 15 on the Paul-Nader Subjective Decentrality Index.
