The United Federal States of New West Guiana is a colossal, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by President Jackson with a fair hand, and remarkable for its devotion to social welfare. The compassionate, intelligent population of 8.044 billion New West Guianans are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whomever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, liberal, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Social Welfare, and Social Equality. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Gemsbrook. The average income tax rate is 80%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

The government is spending millions on renovating the public transportation system, students cut up leftover WG Dollars during Arts and Crafts, New West Guiana's famous countrysides are shrouded by wind farms, and the Supreme Court vehemently protects civil rights and the right to privacy. Crime is totally unknown. New West Guiana's national animal is the Black Jay-Hawk, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies, its national religion is Christianity, and its currency is the WG Dollar.

New West Guiana is ranked 148th in Atlantian Oceania and 97,292nd in the world for Lowest Overall Tax Burden, scoring -11 on the Hayek Index.
