The Republic of New UNSC is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by Fireson and Rainbow Dash with an iron fist, and renowned for its hatred of cheese. Its compassionate, hard-working, cynical population of 2.274 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Education, and Law & Order. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Earth. The average income tax rate is 84%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Tourism industry, followed by Information Technology and Soda Sales.

Several citizens have complained about scientists abducting their pets for experimentation, citizens live in superstitious fear of the mysterious glowing clouds that float over New UNSC, New UNSC has one of the largest offshore wind farms in the world, and the fire protection service is wholly government-funded. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. New UNSC's national animal is the Pegasus, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Celestia, and its currency is the Bit.

New UNSC is ranked 126th in Equestria and 67,555th in the world for Most Influential, scoring 8 on the Soft Power Disbursement Rating.
