The Kingdom of New Kazakhstania is a massive, genial nation, ruled by The Ninja Fish with an even hand, and renowned for its keen interest in outer space. Its compassionate, hard-working population of 1.038 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Education, and Social Equality. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Mikeisgreat. The average income tax rate is 51%, and even higher for the wealthy. A healthy private sector is dominated by the Gambling industry.

Guns are banned, citizens receive notices of disenfranchisement along with their parking tickets, New Kazakhstania successfully hosted the NationStates Olympics, and The Ninja Fish has just been declared ruler of New Kazakhstania in an international press conference. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. New Kazakhstania's national animal is the blue beaked flamingo, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Flamento.

New Kazakhstania is ranked 306th in NationStates and 93,127th in the world for Largest Mining Sector, scoring -1 on the Blue Sky Asbestos Index.
