The Lunar Reich of Nazis in Space is a massive, devout nation, notable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 3.743 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The government -- a sprawling, bureaucracy-choked morass -- is mainly concerned with Law & Order, although Education and Religion & Spirituality are secondary priorities. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 33%. A very small private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

Elections have been outlawed, college students make ends meet by selling their kidneys, ponys are considered a delicacy, and the alarmingly racist TV show 'Bigtopians Say the Darndest Things' is a hit. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is relatively low, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Nazis in Space's national animal is the pony, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the bit.
