The United Socialist States of Nationalist peoples is a massive, safe nation, ruled by Supreme Leader with an iron fist, and remarkable for its strong anti-business politics. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 2.449 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

The large, corrupt government devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as Social Equality and Healthcare receiving almost no funds by comparison. The average income tax rate is 26%, but much higher for the wealthy. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Arms Manufacturing.

Meat-eating is frowned upon, the nation is ravaged by daily union strikes, a dictator has seized power and outlawed elections, and Nationalist peoples's schoolchildren are manufactured into a segregated bunch of soldiers, religious zealots, and computer technicians. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Nationalist peoples's national animal is the badger, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the coin.

Nationalist peoples is ranked 142nd in the Greater German Reich and 90,504th in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring -4 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
