The Disgraced Region of National Socialist League is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate, cynical population of 1.145 billion are prohibited from doing almost everything except voting, which they do timidly and conservatively.

The government -- a sprawling, bureaucracy-choked, socially-minded morass -- concentrates mainly on Defence, although Law & Order and Social Welfare are secondary priorities. The average income tax rate is 40%, but much higher for the wealthy. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Gambling.

Crime -- especially youth-related -- is relatively low, despite the fact that it is difficult to make it through a day without breaking one of the country's many laws. National Socialist League's national animal is the Aryan, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the NS Mark.
