The Matriarchy of Nastasia Banya is a massive, safe nation, ruled by Supreme Queen Bee with an even hand, and renowned for its sprawling nuclear power plants. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 1.403 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Education, and Law & Order. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Honey Comb Hideout. The average income tax rate is 32%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing, Information Technology, and Gambling industries.

The government has taken a 'sort it out yourselves' approach to fighting malaria, suppression of pro-democracy protests is a daily occurrence, Nastasia Banya is increasingly belligerent on the international stage, and morning coffees are no longer the same since the disappearance of newspapers. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Nastasia Banya's national animal is the Honeybee, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Rose.

Nastasia Banya is ranked 161st in the South Pacific and 6,846th in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring 5 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
