Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 8.329 billion hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, liberal government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Healthcare, and Social Welfare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Naive Utopia City. The average income tax rate is 91%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Tourism industry.

The government helps teach children how to kill a man from six paces, schoolchildren have twice-weekly sex education classes, there's a shortage of swinging hot spots as land development grinds to a halt, and prisoners work-share to cut down rising costs of keeping them in jail. Crime is relatively low. Naive Utopia's national animal is the unicorn, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the golden coin.
