The Federirepublich of Myroria is a colossal, safe nation, ruled by President Hupprecht Riltrith with an even hand, and notable for its absence of drug laws. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 8.023 billion enjoy some of the most opulent lifestyles in the region, unless they are unemployed or working-class, in which case they are variously starving to death or crippled by easily preventable diseases.
There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, pro-business individuals juggles the competing demands of Commerce, Healthcare, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Fellowmoor-Pelagis. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Information Technology, Uranium Mining, and Arms Manufacturing industries.
The tenet of free speech is held dear, the government is avowedly atheist, same-sex marriages are increasingly common, and only the rich can afford the latest medical innovations. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is well under control, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Myroria's national animal is the ostrich, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Federirepublich marche.
Myroria is ranked 40th in the region and 54,104th in the world for Highest Unemployment Rates.
