The Empire of All the Houses of Myroria is a gargantuan, cultured nation, ruled by Empeurer Nelvil II Moomintroth with an even hand, and notable for its complete lack of public education. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 13.537 billion enjoy some of the most opulent lifestyles in the region, unless they are unemployed or working-class, in which case they are variously starving to death or crippled by easily preventable diseases.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, pro-business individuals juggles the competing demands of Healthcare, Education, and Commerce. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Fellowmoor-Pelagis. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Information Technology, Uranium Mining, and Woodchip Exports industries.

People are now classified as male, female, or genderqueer, drunk drivers are sent to rehabilitation paid for by the government, urban high-volume mailers now receive their mail via chauffeur-driven limousines, and the government seeks peaceful forum with terrorists. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Myroria's national animal is the ostrich, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Imperial marche.
