The Republic of MX is a huge, socially progressive nation, notable for its absence of drug laws. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 761 million live in a state of perpetual fear, as a complete breakdown of social order has led to the rise of order through biker gangs.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, liberal, pro-business individuals is effectively ruled by the Department of Commerce, with areas such as Social Welfare and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 3%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing industry, followed by Soda Sales and Information Technology.

Voting is voluntary, a large-scale revitalization of the education system is underway, and the automotive industry soaks up huge government handouts. Crime is crippling, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. MX's national animal is the eagle, and its currency is the dollar.
