The Federal Republic of Multnomah is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Russell Meusen with an even hand, and remarkable for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate, hard-working population of 2.337 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Education, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Law & Order receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Haloelite. The average income tax rate is 74%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing, Information Technology, and Tourism industries.

Military service is compulsory, the government's official stance on religion is that it is so very silly, the people are famous throughout the region for their bleached-white teeth, and a new generation of aquariumless hotels are being built under government supervision. Crime is totally unknown. Multnomah's national animal is the Diamondback Rattlesnake, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Dorsal.

Multnomah is ranked 9th in Talos and 18,574th in the world for Largest Public Sector, scoring 18 on the Bureaucratic Comprehensiveness Rating Scale Index.
